I have always been a lover of nature. Sunsets are my favorite.. enjoying the beach or climbing mountains to be one with nature is always spiritually uplifting for me.

For the longest time, I used to wish I can capture nature’s beauty or any other form of life’s expression. To draw, paint and create art are things that  I always thought were impossible for me..

I am an Engineer by profession. After 20 years of working in the corporate world, I resigned. More on that detail here., while working on my fitness advocacy and in search for productivity, I found a group of people in the planner community that enabled me to try out what I thought I could not do.

Adding into the mix of inspiration is my youngest daughter creating wonderful art with acrylic on canvas without me, having her enrolled in Art Class.

It made me think that,  if a 14year old can learn it on her own, WHAT’S STOPPING ME?

Seeing how my group of friends in the Hobonichi Planner Community  create art got me empowered me to try it out. A thing that’s new to my left-brained Engineer mind.

It was then that I realized that art and creativity liberates one from a lot of fears.

Now, I am not afraid to make mistakes as long as I learn from it and improve on myself..  I learned to do away with perfectionism and just enjoy the process trusting that everything will work out for the best.

I want a world filled with people who are unafraid… a world full of  creative,  dynamic and inspired folks who can be visionaries and contribute in making things happen.

Imagine if my goal of helping inspire non-art persons like me to create art would be a reality, then call me naive or however else, maybe together, we can make the world a better place.
